Our Work
We work with state and non-state actors across sectors of health, education, and social protection to promote access to quality, equitable, and affordable services to children and their families. Our programmatic work is driven by four strategic approaches across three programmatic areas.
Our Strategic Approaches
1. Community System Strengthening
We build informed, capable, and coordinated communities and organizations to deliver quality, equitable, and affordable services to vulnerable children and families. This strengthens their capacity to actively participate within local health, education, and welfare systems.
2. Policy Advocacy and Action
Through research and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, we influence policy decisions, challenge discriminatory practices, and advocate for improved public service delivery across health, education, and social protection sectors.
3. Evidence Generation and Dissemination
We strengthen the use of research evidence to improve policies and practices through knowledge generation (experience, science, and critical analysis). This addresses the persistent gap in knowledge translation through communities of practice.
4. Innovation Incubation
We nurture early-stage ideas through structured environments offering resources, mentorship, and guidance. This helps bring impactful innovations to life that address the evolving needs of children and families.
